Kara Downey

Kara is a fourth-year graduate student with interests in comparative politics, international relations, and research methodology.  Her current projects focus on ethnic and sub-ethnic identity, authoritarian institutions, democratization, and foreign aid, with particular emphasis on Central Asia and the former Soviet Union.
