Biography

Professor Allison Carnegie is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Columbia University. She received a joint PhD in Political Science and Economics from Yale University. Her research interests include international relations, political economy, and quantitative methods. Her book Power Plays: How International Institutions Reshape Coercive Diplomacy was published by Cambridge University Press in 2015. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in the American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, British Journal of Political Science, International Organization, Political Analysis, and the Election Law Journal. She has been awarded the Provost's Grant and the Bradley, Falk, Ethel Boies Morgan, Kaufman, and Yale University Fellowships.
