Biography: 

Nathan Lee is interested in the psychological and sociological processes by which facts and expertise are contested in American politics. He employs a variety of methods, including survey experiments, field experiments, content analysis, and interviews to identify patterns of knowledge contestation among both the mass public and policymakers, as well as what types of experts and expert communication strategies are more or less effective in addressing such contestation. He also has a range of other interests including local and state politics, interest-group lobbying, bureaucratic behavior, and energy and environmental policy. In addition, He is also the founder and director of the National Survey on Local Government (nslg.org).
