Mai Hassan - Zoom Workshop - Coordinated Dis-Coordination

Welcome!  I am an Associate Professor (starting September 1) in the Political Science Department at the University of Michigan.  My research focuses on the state, autocracy, and regime change. My book, Regime Threats and State Solutions (Cambridge University Press, Studies in Comparative Politics), examines the politicization of the public sector in Kenya. It was listed as one of Foreign Affairs’ Best Books of 2020 and was the recipient of APSA’s 2021 Robert A. Dahl Award.
