Steven Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Saint Louis University. In his research, he studies American politics and elections. He evaluates the extent to which elections serve as a mechanism for accountability and representation in American legislatures. His current book project - Accountability in American Legislatures - addresses the question: do elections hold state legislators accountable for their own performance. His other research can be found in the American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, and Legislative Studies Quarterly.
