"My decision to major in Political Science was, in many ways, an obvious one given my desire to pursue graduate study and a career as an academic. However, Stanford’s polisci program provided me with exceptional training in both political theory and quantitative political methodology, training that made me competitive for admission to top Ph.D. programs. Once entering graduate school at Harvard, I drew on what I learned at Stanford to accelerate my studies and develop the research agenda that later became my dissertation project. Now, as a member of the political science faculty at Indiana University, I continue to use the skills I gained at Stanford in my research, teaching, and student advising. "
"I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Indiana University."
