Jacob Jaffe

Jacob Jaffe is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Political Science and the Hoover Institute. Jaffe defended his Ph.D. dissertation from MIT in July of 2023. Jaffe specializes in American Politics and Methodology. His work explores the administration of American elections, trust in government, and public opinion. In combining large observational datasets and experimental ones, Jaffe shows how elite behavior and policy govern how Americans experience elections and political life as a whole.
