Nandita Balakrishnan is a Ph.D. Candidate in the fields of International Relations, Quantitative Methods, and Formal Theory. She has particular interests in international law, human rights, and South Asian Politics.
She holds a B.A. in both International Studies and Economics from Emory University (May 2014), where she graduated with highest honors in International Studies for her thesis entitled “The Internet: Changing the Way We Think about Women’s Rights?” She was the 2014 recipient of the Elliot Levitas Award, Emory’s award for outstanding scholarship in political science by a graduating senior.
