Patrick Kennedy
Patrick graduated with honors in Political Science as part of the first cohort of the Research Honors Track program. He was the Firestone Medal recipient for his senior thesis, titled "Destined to Disappoint? A Cross-Country Analysis of Executive Approval and Political Institutions".
Patrick "works with a research team to monitor the international movement of financial capital, and then analyze how these flows might influence (and be influenced by) the Fed's monetary policies. The job often draws directly on my background in economic and political history, and involves a good mix of quantitative and qualitative skills. Majoring in political science -- and especially participating in the Research Honors Track -- was excellent preparation for my work here."
