Sue Kwon

“The Political Science major prepared me for a career with many twists and turns.  It started with an internship in the White House Press Office where I leveraged my ability to research, write, and collaborate in team settings. My Poli Sci professors and classmates fueled my curiosity to see the world and passion to drive social change – So, I became a tv news reporter covering politics, the economy, and social justice issues. The Poli Sci major taught me how to analyze and solve problems. Eventually, I applied these skills to roles in global corporate communications at large corporations and small startups.  Today, my Stanford liberal arts education continues to serve as an amazing foundation in a career that continues to evolve and present new opportunities.  Currently, I lead brand and communications at a Silicon Valley venture capital firm."
