“The Political Science major prepared me for a career with many twists and turns.  It started with an internship in the White House Press Office where I leveraged my ability to research, write, and release stress with an occasional Stanford primal scream.  My Poli Sci professors and classmates fueled my curiosity to see the world and passion to drive social change – So, I became a tv news reporter covering politics, the economy, and too many crime scenes to count.  Experience analyzing and solving problems came in handy during a period in politics (*My husband also a Class of ’90 grad held a city office.) I also applied the major to roles in global corporate communications at Gap Inc. and Symantec.  Today, my Stanford liberal arts education continues to serve as an amazing foundation in a career that continues to evolve and present new opportunities.  Currently, I have a seat on the saddle of a startup unicorn founded by much younger Stanford grads who appreciate my ability to execute the primal scream.”

“I lead the integrated communications function at Honor. The Head of Communications role looks after PR & Marketing, corporate brand and reputation, as well as executive communications.”
