My academic research agenda focuses on financial regulation and administrative law. My work sits at the intersection of law, political science, and public policy. In pursuing this approach, my work draws on financial regulatory law practice experience, quantitative and qualitative empirical research methods, and organizational theory. I am particularly interested in how financial regulatory agencies interpret and implement their legal mandates. My academic work has appeared in the Columbia Law Review, Yale Law Journal, Yale Journal on Regulation, Journal of Politics, and Journal of Public Administration, Research and Theory.
