What's the best or most interesting class you have ever taken and why?
It's a tie between the Stanford in Washington class "Civil Rights Law" taught by a lawyer at the Department of Justice and a history class at Stanford with Professor Gienapp about colonial and revolutionary America (History50/150A). I love both of these classes because my teachers were engaging speakers and extremely knowledgeable. I also was extremely interested in learning more about the topics. They made their respective subjects come to life with their storytelling, passion, and clarity. I appreciated their approachability and excitement about their subjects and for that reason I'll never forget their classes.

I am currently enrolled in EDUC103A, Tutoring: Seeing a Child through Literacy. The class discusses different issues within public schools and how to help students from different levels and socioeconomic backgrounds succeed. Twice a week, we go to the East Palo Alto Library where I will be tutoring the same child throughout the quarter. It has been an amazing experience so far!

Life is a marathon

If you could be one Disney character who would you be and why?
Mulan was my role model when I was younger. At the time, she was the only form of Asian female representation on Disney Channel. I wanted to be like her and defy gender norms.
