Political Science Diploma Ceremony
The diploma ceremony for the Political Science department takes place following the larger University ceremony on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Kennedy Grove. We begin with a reception from 11:30am-12:30pm to allow students and their families to make their way from the large stadium to Kennedy Grove. Seating is first come, first serve for families. Students will be asked to take their seat around 12:15pm and we will begin promptly at 12:30pm. Our diploma ceremony includes the hooding of our PhD students and awarding degrees to our undergraduate students. If you have any questions regarding the ceremony please email Brenna Curtis, the undergraduate program administrator.
Prior to Commencement, students should complete the following:
- Apply to graduate through Axess. (The Spring application deadline is April 13, 2018.)
- Fill out a Major/Minor Multiple Majors Course Approval form. (This is only required of students who are double majors or a major with minor.)
- Complete a webform for the department, due by May 1, 2018.
