I lived in New Jersey but drove to school in Pennsylvania until I was 18.
I am interested in applying quantitative tools to political science questions. In particular, I am fascinated by elections and, more broadly, by how people make decisions about politics.
I would love to become a professor. The constant learning involved in conducting research attracts me, and I think I would make a very happy teacher.
In high school, I spent some time studying snow and ice on Greenland and in the Arctic.
I love the community. Stanford has such a unique and loving community, in which always astounds me. I love the people here because of their kindness and openness with one another.

Every day at Stanford harnesses a very vibrant energy. When I first started here, I was somewhat intimidated by this atmosphere, but since then I have integrated myself to the dynamic lifestyle and the numerous opportunities that being a member of the Stanford community provides. There's never a dull day, even on dull days.
Despite my major and my future plans being devoted to IR, my minor (and my secondary passion) is chemistry; I work as a chem tutor and I just joined Stanford's chemistry fraternity, Alpha Chi Sigma, this past spring quarter.
