Nuno P. Monteiro is Assistant Professor of Political Science. His main research interests are in International Relations theory and meta-theory as well as security studies, including great-power politics, the causes of war, and nuclear proliferation.
Lynn Vavreck is a faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on the effects of political campaigns, particularly the role that stable structural conditions like the nation’s economy and partisanship play in light of campaign activities like candidate advertising, stump speeches, and candidate visits.
Sangick "Sunny" Jeon is a Ph.D. Candidate specializing in Comparative Politics and International Relations. He is currently completing a dissertation project that uses formal, empirical, and experimental methods to identify and test strategies for reducing intergroup biases and supporting interethnic cooperation in fractionalized groups, organizations, communities, and societies.
